March special Grades just popped up...

Pretty satisfied overall. The 1991 Fleer Mutombo and Johnson are very tough due to the blue front borders and soft orange backs (I think there was only one Mutombo even graded 9 in the Pop Report and the rest all 8s before my submission). I went through many cases of 1991 Fleer Basketball to pull some nice enough to grade.

On the 1974 Basketball, I am fairly satisfied with many 8s, though was hoping for a few 9s. An interesting note that the Maravich cards were the only ones that received the OCs, even though all the cards submitted were from the same vending boxes and all had very similar centering. This confirms what I have thought all along - that PSA looks at the player when grading, rather than just grading the card itself.

Many of these will be up on ebay by this weekend.

    I suppose it's easier to fabricate a conspiracy theory rather than to admit you don't know what you're doing.

    And notice my comments that overall the grades were fair. I did not expect 9s and 10s on the 1974 basketball. And the cards I thought were gem(the 1991 basketball) were indeed given a PSA 10. This just reinforces my point about today's post. And it also reinforces what Samuel L. Jackson said about Maurice....
