D & H 86 .............Is that some doubling on the H and F? Is it common with this coin?

Looks like a couple of recut letters. This is quite common on tokens and coinage of the era.

Yes, quite common on Conders and you will see them on CWT's, HTT's and Merchant Cards as well
Kinda neat but normal.

You may even get a rotated die on some......I have a few but not worth a premium unless that certain
collector thinks its worth a premium
