Question Re "Bubbles" in NGC Slab

I received an NGC slab back from grading...it's a 2008 $25 Plat that graded PR70 Ultra Cameo.

The only thing that bothers me is that there are dark spots...that look like trapped air pockets or possible moisture on both sides of the slab.

Since NGC is going to be in Philly next week, should I ask them to reslab it (and should this be gratis on their part?)...or do you think the bubbles will disappear over time? If case it matters, these "bubbles" are clearly visible in NGC's verification photos...only slightly different in shape.

I just don't like the idea that moisture might be trapped against the coin's surface.

Thoughts...comments?

Definitely suspended inside the case...as the bubbles/dark marks have shifted somewhat since the verification photos were taken.

And they only appear to be on the blank white field area of the slab, not near the actual coin surface.

Show it to NGC at the show and they should fix it for you gratis.

Tiny bubbles, play that record and stare at your slab while drinking large amounts of Jack Danny..

P.S. Call NGC customer service tell them your problem and walla, your coin gets a new slab free..

Do these black spots look a little like a drop of liquid between the white plastic and the clear plastic? If you press on the slab, do they move?
If so, I have several NGC slabs with this malady. So far after several years, the coins have not changed in the holder, but they are not PR70's either.

I would be interested in any other feedback on this issue. Also, you might try this question on the NGC boards.

I have always been told/believed that they were due to trapped air/air bubbles. This thread is the first I have heard that NGC will reholder them for free because of it.

Yes...when you press down, they seem to flex and flow a bit. But I still can't tell if its air or moisture?

Since I think platinum is basically immune to practically everything, I'm not too concerned. But it is distracting...especially with an essentially flawless coin inside.
