1879 Morgan Grade

This 1879 Morgan has me a bit unsure of what grade to assign (I've assigned an AU55 at the moment) It interest me, but lacks overall eye-appeal. I don't see much, if any wear, but something is wrong and I can't put my finger on it.



The Breast on the reverse looks in disarray and I can't seem to decide if worn or something else. I've taken an 1885 reverse and used for comparison vs the 1879...any opinions?

I do believe that the parallel hairlines around the eagle's head are from a cleaning
and not a die polishing. I'd say Genuine, cleaned.

How do you tell if something is cleaned? I just don't have the eye for it yet.
