Some sharp stars & commons from the 1975 Mini group rip that I may sub *With Scans*

These are some of the better cards I pulled from my 14 packs in the recent 1975 Mini group rip. Feel free to comment on which you think are submission worthy, and if not, why. The Aaron and Yount will sell in 8OC or 9OC condition, so they are being included.

Pulling the Brett and Young is impressive!! Congrats.

The Brett looks 8-8.5 range to me, don't ask me why.

The Seaver and Singer cards look VERY minty!!

    Good luck with your sub.

Burris is low, singer might be as well. I would grade all but the burris. The yount and aaron are 6/7 due to centering, but I would grade them anyway.

I don't think I would grade the McCovey unless it is just for your oun collection and enjoyment. It looks a little too off center to get more than an 8. But I could be wrong............and I usually am as my wife would say............

I'd agree about holding back Burris...maybe Schueler and Wise for centering issues as well..

Brock and Seaver look razor sharp!

I've seen 75 mini cards in a PSA 9 holder with worse centering than the McCovey...I think you have at least a shot there if all 4 corners and edges are sharp.

I be interested in buying the Yount now and saving you the grading fee... will pay you what ever the oc cards normally sell for.

I have McCovey at 43/57 left to right.
  • Burris and Schueler seem to have too much tilt for an 8.... I would save the grading fees on them for sure...

Sportsamerica - If you think they are tilted, then what would you have graded this card?

    Not a 9, right?

The T/B centering on the Lynn RC is much better than on the Burris or Schueler though...

With a Tilt like that I would get 8's due to the centering... With the Lynn it does not have the visual tilt as much in my eyes (Most likly with the colors being used the red does not make it stand out as much as the Blue on the Burris and schueler)..

Like Grote wrote, the T/B centering is much better on the Lynn... I would just be careful.... (I didn't look are these two commons low POP commons?)

Right on the money with those grades, IMO...why did you hold back the Seaver?

It seemed to have a slight miscut to it like a parallelogram shape (if that makes sense). I sent it to gumbyfan for the group submission, so in about 2 months we shall see.

Very nice! Especially the Brett, nice card but I'd have said a 7 with today's grading.

    Superb cards Nick!

I rarely comment before cards are sent out since I'm not good at judging them from a scan on my screen.

    Congratulations.
