what does 'The composite definition was changed" mean?

I'm looking at My Set Registry, noticed a rank change in one of my sets with the above comment. there are no details given. what's going on?

It is usally a change in bonus points for special designations. DCAM, CAM, RD, FB, FS in most cases they make chages in the extra values added. In some cases it is also the values of key date coins in the set might change. Or they might just be getting around to weighting a set or making changes in the weight of certain coin withen a set. And in some cases the coins reqired to make the set might change by dropping or adding coins.
So it can be whatever they want, would be the best answer.

It seems to happen fairly often with my sets, maybe once every two weeks. (I collect Morgans, so maybe I'm seeing them adding VAM variety attribution weight.)

They also just added the 2008 coins to all modern sets.

OK, so they change the composition. I have 6 AU58 dimes in a basic 1946-54 set.
You'd think this set would be pretty well set.

I have moved up or down due to "The composite definition was changed"

Is this happening automatically as prices or populations change??
