How come Matt Jones of JAX hasn't been suspended yet?

Can anyone tell me why getting caught snorting cocaine doesn't merit an immediate suspension, or a suspension at all? By no means am I defending Burress, but they are making this out to be the crime of the century and guys like Matt Jones, Adam Jones, Leonard Little, etc. are still playing football...

Yet the Vikings playoff hopes are lessened today with the suspension of our run stoppers the Williams boys, for taking a FAT MAN PILL. Nothing to do with roids, but they are lost now for the last 4 games. Why did he wait all year, this was a well documented issue at the start of the year. Goddell is an a**hole.

But Pacman is back, along with alot of other thugs.

As far as the media coverage goes, my guess would be the fact that Burress had a gun with possible intent to harm somebody. Not to mention the dumba$$ shot himself.

It's a much bigger story than some guy snorting coke or another guy getting in a minor scuffle with his "body guard"

Somebody ended up paralyzed in the Adam Jones mess...that's not a minor scuffle.

Mark, I just realized you're talking about the Vegas incident.

I was referring to the incident that Pacman had with his security guard in Dallas. That is the minor scuffle I was referring to.

You asked why such a big deal was being made about the Plaxico mess. It's because it's current. It's not something that happened 1.5 years ago.
