Yes be aware, the Seller that Archinator is talking about is a Snake...He ripped me off as well. Don't remember the details now, it was 2-3 years ago and he was added to my Don't Buy From Seller list at the time.

    1. Left me "positive feedback" right away!

    2. Sent me an email, that item was shipped!

    3. Still waiting for the card (now 5 days later, after the email)!

Bummer, sorry to hear both of u got screwed!

Hope its not a trifecta! image

<< <i>If you would like to sell / trade the card, please send me a PM. Great deal...even more amazing the seller actually made good on the sale. I refuse to bid with the seller shoeless-joejackson (may not be the exact ID). This seller (initials KB) left me negative feedbacks, never shipped and tried to leave me non paying bidder strikes that eBay immediately dismissed. I paid in full immediately for my winning bids, insurance and tracking. The seller claimed the cards were lost in the mail but refused to provide the insurance or tracking information that I paid for. This type of situation must be part of the reason why eBay changed the feedback policy. It prevented non selling sellers for having any feedback leverage. Shilling...well, that is a different eBay problem getting worse. Sorry for the rant but I do indeed remember when this card selling on eBay for $.99 and smiled. Enter cliche!

Yes, Archaninator & thedutymon (Neil) were both correct: ...as this seller shoeless-joejackson, never shipped me my card. He claimed it was shipped right away (yeah right!)!

So I emailed him again, to ask him:

If he had a bridge in Brooklyn for sale?

Why list a card for an opening bid of 99 cents, if you have ZERO intention of honoring that amount?

This seller deserves a NEG + "1-star", five times!

  • Good morning,
Is there a way to set up your E-bay notifications to have E-bay notify you 6 months or a year from now when this snake thinks enough time has passed and he Lists it again? I would love to be part of jumping all over him and notifying E-Bay. You should save all the info from this auction and all of the correspondence between you and him for that time.

The trouble with that is he can claim he sent it, it got lost in the mail and after 3 months the USPS returned it to him.

Or some BS along those lines.

Sorry this happened to you Robert, but that guy is a snake.

    Good for you.

    Not yet Steve.

I just got Paypal to "find in my favor" my Paypal Claim, so I can get my $4+ back, what a joke! Can you believe the gall of this guy, he just emailed me and suggested, since I'm getting a refund, I should give him positive feedback!

P.S. I hate neg feedback, even for a snake like him!

This dirt bag seller after, telling me all kinds of BS. A year later, figured it is now safe to sell it now! (I've been watching! LOL!)

P.S. I wonder if ebay can punish him somehow for relisting this "so-called" lost card? (Probally not, like Steve said he will just say some BS like "the USPS returned the card three months later" or some other BS! LOL!)

this is a perfect example of why i prefer buy it now or best offers in my ebay store, that way someone makes an offer i'm happy with it's a win/win and package is shipped safe and sound to the winners door. if i started things at .99 on psa 10 cards i would still deliver if it sold that cheap but i would be bummed out over the transaction.

    slacker thoughts....
goal is to build my 1962 topps mars attacks set psa gpa 8.25.

If I remember, I bid around $25 for this card. Being the only bidder for an item opening at 99 cents, well that was another issue. I really wonder if this seller would have honored a $25 bid?

Since he listed other Valentine Foldees PSa 10s at $199 before, I'm sure weither it was 99 cents or twenty-five dollars, the seller most likely would have "wormed this way out of the deal" either way!

Like most 1960 items, especially cards that are over-sized, finding PSA 10s are pretty tough! Not delivering this item for 99 cents, well I can understand, but continuing to pull the kind of cr@p creating all the BS he did, is what whizzed me off, and of course, doing simular acts with other buyers, just shows what kind of guy this seller really is.

I'm sure he has already lost business just because of this thread alone. Guess, in the seller's mind, this type of behavior is "a necessary evil" in the course of doing business?

And I hope someday he does sell his Valentine Foldees PSA 10s for $199.00

When they are worth $399! image

This piece of runny fecal matter , had an Emmitt Smith card that Matt ( Lawnmowerman ) needed earlier this year . I was trying to get it for his birthday . He even had it in Buy-it-now for $ 24.99 . I bought it , paid on the spot , with paypal. 3 weeks later , nothing. I filed an item not received . His response was , buyer never paid. I got my money back . In May , he relisted the card for $49.99.
