anyone need a special stamp?

I have thousands and thousands of stamps, 3 trash bags full. I have found some from the early 1900's. I don't collect stamps. My mom worked for the check gallery here in Maryland for years and every letter she tore off the stamp. She donated alot of them and gave a bunch to me. If you are looking for a stamp to complete your collection let me know and i'll see if I have it. If you could post me a pic that would be great to. Are there any special one's I should look for or any rare ones? I also was given by my aunt her collection from when she was growing up. I haven't really had time to mess with these until now.

You should get a Scott catalog if you want to learn to be able to identify what you have. There are many varieties of similar looking stamps, most of which are of little value and then there are a very few that have some real value. Condition is a big factor just like any other collectible(if they are in trash bags there are surely some that are damaged). Most used stamps from the mid 20's on are not especially valuable with some exceptions of course. I collect used pre 1925 (or so) stamps that are in superb condition. If you have any used undamaged imperforates those would be of interest to me.
