What the heck is this 1935 Lincoln DDO worth?
Does anyone collect these things, or do they have to be listed on PCGS as part of the set (like the 1936 DDO) before they have value?
It is a pcgs ms65 Red DDO FS-101 and has a URS of 6 which means only 17 to 32 pieces, and this is solo finest.
Help me out here, I am ignorant on these types.

But not a 65 RD
Yours is worth a decent amount. How much I'm not sure.
The URS is worthless, as it is with most die varieties. MANY exist of most of the different dies that have never been 'counted'. I have nearly that many examples of this die myself (all well below BU), and know there have to be ten times that many out there. Now it is very possible, however, that you could own the finest known, or close to it.
I would tentatively place a value of $200-$300 on it and see what happens. Too many people want it at that price, well then it's too low...but I have a gut feeling I'm close with that estimate.
BTW, I would sell AU coins at $150 all day long....they simply aren't worth that. My figure on AU coins would be $50-$75 at best.
Bottom line - this die is not rare. It is uncommon, but not rare.

<< <i>WOW, those pictures at your website were fascinating! You are right, you do not look the part of the artist, but maybe that is what they said of all those people you drew. >>
