Here is the coin in the slab. Blue is all over the coin when it is rotated.

Here are the pictures that were taken to show the color......

Thanks.

"In my experience, it is impossible to 'overwork' a drawing; that being said, you should always be careful not to loose sight of your intentions."
As such, I do not think it matters how much or how little you tweak a photo in order to make it look like the coin in hand, so long as the final result is an accurate portrayal. From another perspective, consider that the process of translating an object into a digital facsimile is inherently rife with tweaks - some maybe known by you such such as how you set up your camera or lights, while others remain a function of your camera such as the algorithms by which it processes information or even the quality of its lens - as such, why should any significance at all be imparted to the raw image your camera captures?
In other words, nice picture.

<< <i>Hey, Ken, Does this one have enough tone for you?
Tony you know the answer to that. And I had to talk you into buying that coin. Shame on me......

The 18D that belongs to a forum member also I think. It was close to FB also. The 25P was cool also and belongs to a forum member too. Oh Yea, the 45S was a sweetheart also. The 19S and 18D were the best I think.

<< <i>FLM, that is actually a RELATIVELY common color for a '58 Roosie, so I'm comfortable that it's pretty accurate. >>
So true. The 58 thats in my set and the 57 are almost the same as this coin. Just one point higher grade wise for some reason. Possibly the reverse on this coin is a shade too dark.
Edit for brain fade: 57 and 55.....

Al those were purchased from a forum member on the BST forum. You should see those babies in hand. Better than the pictures.
