When PCGS grades how much depends on edge wear? Like when the reeded edge is almost gone.

    Good question- I would be curious top know as well. Maybe Cameron or someone else who used to grade can fill us in. I also wonder about wear on the lettered edged of Capped Bust Halves.

    The edges generally hold up compared to the wear on a coin.
    If you are talking about a damaged edge, then this will affect the coins grade and can bag a coin at the TPG's.

    Can you show a pic of the coin in question showing the reeded edge being almost gone?
    Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
