(: Hummm... Should I be concerned? TrueView Question - YIPPIE... IMAGES ADDED :)

I sent in World Submission and requested TrueView... PLASTERED it EVERYWHERE... up and down the submission form.

I just received notice on the site that the order has shipped... no trueview images are there though... so.. what do you think? out of luck?

When did your grades get posted? In my past experiences with TrueView,
there is usually a time delay of several hours before images are made available.

BTW: Were you happy with the grades? What did you submit?
  • got grades yesterday... shipment confirm today... hummmm....
nothing really sepcial.... first world submission... how did i do? pretty common seems... but the colors are purrrrrty

    Most likely they "FORGOT".

PLASTERING EVERYWHERE IS NO GAURANTEED, unfortunately!!! image

They did the same thing to me about 2+ years ago. I sent in two orders of der Schweiss; one was at the $40 level (yeppers, it took them an extra week+ to turn those). This order had just 3 coins, and they imaged 2 and BB'd a very nice 5 franc. The other group of 20 was "lost by the wayside". No images even though they nabbed the $100 for TrueView. Oh, "gosh darn", said they. Just send them back and we'll eat up another month of your time (or more).

Sorry!! Number one, most were already sold, and I was not overjoyed about having to pay another $40 to send another Registered package back to the "offenders, when, #1, it should have been done right the first time, and #2, PCGS should always pay postage BOTH WAYS when they screw the pooch..........for any reason.

Oh yeah, here's one they imaged.

    image

Oh yeah, Bodybag with the horrible "altered surfaces" sold for a nice little profit to a major Darkside dealer, and now resides in an NGC MS66 holder......... Aw shucks, how'd that happen ??? imageimage

Also, your web site is beyond fabulous.....................I'm sending your web addy to the missus since she needs a web design, etc.
  • recieved an email on friday stating that they were having problems uploading trueviews...

    as of today:

    i have my orders back
    credit card charged full amount
    no trueviews

I have sent a few emails inquiring... so far nothing back... will be calling in i guess, but any thoughts on this? anyone receive trueviews in the last few days?
Just not sure why trueview is so illusive and confusing... I have had many troubles with this service (and I plaster the words everywhere on the forms in big permanent marker!)

  • Success! Guess they fixed the problem... Images have now appeared... Thanks PCGS!
    below are the pix

some images are a bit perplexing...
the goose for examples appears more grey in hand... rotated in the light it picks up some color, yes, but the trueview image seems much more intense.

    WTG, O extraterriestrial simian creature!

Speaking of spacemonkeys and pictures, I just rec'd a compliment on that photomontage of that Otho denarius of mine that you did.

Yeah. I thought Maddy Rae might have been one of the interns LM's had to hire due to the recent press of business.

Nice Coins and Trueviews SM. I find this very image and pleasing to view.
