OK, I like watching PTI, and enjoy that show.....
But watching this MNF game is already getting to be brutal. "Brett Favre this. Brett Favre that that. Rodgers needs to do this so the fans will forget about Favre."
You'd think he was the first popular player ever to retire and some new guy had to take his place.
Get over it!!

Oh, and in case you haven't heard it for the 3,485,721st time, Tom Brady injured his knee and will be out for the rest of the season...

How many times do you think the NFL pregame shows this Sunday are going to mention it and show the footage? I'd say about 100 times
minimum. This will surpass the famous Joe Theismann Monday night debacle for the most replayed footage of someone getting injured.

<< <i>football games are much better when the volume is turned down to ZERO >>
If there was a way to silence the announcers but maintain the crowd noise, I'd watch the game that way. I know, there's probably technology that does this and I'm just not aware of it.
They need to get back to 3rd man in the booth being a football guy, not some writer/comedian/actor or whatever.
<< <i>I like Kornheiser, but I do not much care for football. I saw maybe 10 plays last night between innings. The NFL games have way too many commercials for me. >>
An excellent point. You could argue that complaining about the broadcast crew during an NFL game is a bit like complaining about the cuisine on the Titanic: It's not that your complaint isn't legitimate, just that there are more pressing concerns at stake.
I'm real close to giving up the NFL because of the commercials. I watched the Lions on Sun., and I just couldn't believe how many interruptions there were. And it feels like it's gotten worse-- much worse-- over the past eight years or so.
