    Congrats to you and your wife on your 30th, John. This is the only survivor from that long ago (bought in 1964):

    well, this one was not "mine" per se... but it WAS my fathers.. plucked from circulation when he was a kid. It WAS in my house growing up and i always enjoyed helping out with my father and grandfather when they were putting together there whittman folders.

    I found this one on a hot steamy evening in 1972. Kept getting rolls from the bank......looking for a 72DDO and finally...FOUND IT!

    Just recently sent into the home team for some plastic, PCGS 63RB

    Sorry, no pic, but I still have the 1961 proof set in a blue Capital plastics holder that my parents gave me for my birthday. It got me interested in proofs and though it is nothing special, it is priceless to me.
