Congratulations brother.
Thank you, Brian and Mr. Epstein.
You are coin people of the highest order. I am fortunate.
Honor thy Father.

never hurts to ask
You sure deserve one, after putting those coins together.
I notice you had "Ol Joe", the grader at PCGS who is colorblind do your 16. I had the same guy do mine
Somehow when I think BROWN I think UPS truck color
Alan Is sitting at my table here in Long Beach as I write this. He agrees.

Lucky day for me - nothing more.
Maybe "Ol Joe" will get some contacts one of these days. Pennieannie, the answer is no, I do not officially own any of these coins I have displayed. That is so passe, owning your own coins, and all that technical stuff. I'm much more modern then that. It actually frightens me to even read the regs. Bright lights too - frightening. I just dug up some numbers and let it fly. Isn't that what we all do??
Rick and Alan - thank you. Alan- I think you really did me right - much appreciated. Bob-it's like breathing - up one minute, down the next! As long as we keep at it! Keep it classy.
On the encore thing, let's just wait and see what turns up. Never can tell.
Thank's to all for the kindness and support.
As always, share with others, and keep up the good fight.
A fellow collector.
Duane
P.S. Stupid question - the MPL hat does NOT really exist, right??? Brian, you holding out?? : )
I'm lucky if I can draw a stick figure, but I like assembling 2 contrasting-themed mozaics of beautiful MPL's.
Of course, 'beauty' is subjective and for me inherently aspirational. There's always room for improvement.
When I was a youngster I had a favorite color (it was blue-green), but now I'm too indecisive to pick one.
I am not kidding,

I collect 20-slab, blue plastic PCGS coin boxes. To me, every empty box is like a beating heart NOT.
People come up sometimes, and ask me, G99G, are you kidding? And I answer them no, I am NOT KIDDING.
Every empty box?
C'mon!

Congratulations on your new MPL's. I wish you much luck in getting the "big" one. It took me eight years to complete my set, but yours is a beauty.

Well Brian, Nows your chance to shine. After all, your flock of mattiesheep paid for that beautiful brand new Bentley in your garage.....

Thank you.
-no one stepped on MY day - that as a good day for all of us;
-I have no fav color, although red and green look the same to me : ). Seriously, the reds are beautiful. I gave up my only one (from Stewart) for a reason beyond this post - Stewart, it was awesome, and I am thankful to you beyond what I can say, but I followed my heart on that one; This set will contain at least one coin from all the MPL major leaguers, and Stewart stands tall at 1914. Let's see what the near future brings.... That 'big one' may be closer then we know.
-Brian; about that hat??? (looks like the Bentley is out of the bag). Call me and let's put one together for our collector colleagues.... Let's bring MPLs out of the closet and all make a ton of dough.... A hat is a good start.
Brian's Bentley looks blue-green to me, but not matte.
Duane
But......the hat......
sort of something like the NFL logo......with a nice bust of abe in multi colored hues.....and a touch of granularity
And BOO HOO back to page 2 on the mattie list....Ive lived there for awhile and had to go sneak off to the Indian proof sets and put my two coins up....that took me to 19 (of course one is an 1877)
