Hi folks-

Here is a Regency slab to add to your growing slab collection! And...it has a nice Indian cent to boot. The slab is not mine nor do I have any interest in the seller...just wanted to alert the Board.

It is funny to read the description and it really doesn't get into the coin and its variety at all. All about the holder. They are neat ones but still just holders. At least they don't give more registry points to them....or do they? (Not knocking the seller. I like them actually.)

Yep...just plastic, but some people like the "rare" holders. It's price is already at or above the price for the holder alone (with a cheapie coin) and will probably rise a lot more because of the variety. So, in the end, it is unlikely that the holder will influence the price much. Then again, if the holder came with the genuine simulated leather pouch...then we would really have something!

Since the coin essentially stands on its own, I doubt the seller had to do much to sell it so he/she highlighted the holder. Again...I have no affiliation with the seller.

I am not a registry guy, but I doubt any extra points are allotted for older holders like these.

That thinglooks like a handfull...or a remote control. Its a little over kill for such a small coin.
