Lou Piniella has 2 rc's? Edit: Make that 3 rookie cards !!??

I was just thumbing through Ebay looking up some Lou Piniella cards (he's my fav. MGR sort of) and I noticed he has a 1964 Topps rookie (Senators) and a 1968 Topps rookie (Cleveland)...??? I honestly never knew this. I had always assumed he was arookie with KC. Nevermind ahve 2 rookie cards 4 years apart, I never knew he even played for Wash. or Clev.

Anyone else have any more info on this?

Jay

Edit: I continued on looking and came across a Lou Piniella 1969 Topps rookie (Pilots). How many rc cards does this guy have? lol

I think Bill Davis has the record with 5.... he never had a card by himself...

Usually they put the best prospect first, and Davis got 5 top billings in a row. image

Funny thing is, every single guy that Davis is pictured with (with the exception of Tom Kelly) ended up playing in more major league games than Davis ever did. Tom Kelly went on to manage the Twins for 16 years.

Thanks guys. I didn't know that it wasn't uncommon to have more than 1 rookie card in those sets.
