Annual Report of the Director of the Mint, 37 vols.

Over the years, I have acquired a small library of these reports produced each year by the U.S. Mint.
They are 6" by 9", some are soft-bound, some are hard-bound. All are in good condition with the exception of the 1895 edition which has a loose, but intact spine. The interior pages are in excellent condition throughout; the subtle yellowing of some of the older pages just adds to the history. These books are the "state of the Mint speech" given to the U.S. Treasury each year; coin production, precious metal prices, charts, graphs, world coinage and events. Some have production of coins, by year and type from 1793. A mini-encyclopedia of the Mint's operations and world production for each fiscal year. Some volumes are more interesting than others; but this will vary by your own interests. The books are fiscal years, meaning the fiscal year ending June 30, 1964 book also includes calendar year 1963 production. Start your numismatic research right here. The Mint has done all the work for you.
Below are the years available, prices and the approximate pages for each. Naturally, there will be much more info in the larger volumes. First class shipping included in price. Pictures available upon request; too big to post here.

Folks...these are GREAT references and you might be surprised at how interesting some of the text can be...then again, I am a geek for that kind of stuff.

Now, Joe, any volumes from the mid-1870's and early 1880's?
