I deleted my entire inventory by accident while...ALL IS RESTORED!

StoogeStooge Posts: 4,668 ✭✭✭✭✭
trying to delete 2 measly coins. I received this crazy error page and the next thing I know my entire inventory has been deleted with all my statistics regarding payment, who they were purchased from, dates, and about 10 other stats.

I sent an E-mail to PCGS but I received a generic E-mail response back stating that it would be 3 business days to receive a reply.

I don't care about all of that, just so they can fully restore all of my stats and stuff.

PCGS, I have my fingers crossed!

Paul.

Later, Paul.

Don't call "Customer Service" they will screw it up even more! PM or email B.J., she will do her best to fix it for youimage

It is too bad that "Customer Service" doesn't take a few lessons from BJ and her staffimage
  • OOPS !!!

But a chance for my sets to move up a rank, if only for a day.

Chill for a day. You have been given good advise to contact BJ.

"WOW"... Nice score on the 69-D in your set.
And I thought I was finding it tough to find the thing in a NICE 66. image

I have a WONDERFUL helper in Cosetta Robbins, working diligently in trying to restore my coins and sets. Not only is she helpful, but very nice too.

    I am indebted to her!

Well, I've got my inventory back, but at this time still no sets.

I've got full faith that they will restore them soon.

    Thanks, PCGS!

That was a close one. If you look on the bottom left on most collection pages there is an "Export to CSV" function. If you haven't used it then give it a try. It'll allow you to back up your info which is real helpful in these kind of situations.

    Glad it worked out!

I was invited to contribute so several of my suggestions were incorporated into the new Registry. The only one that didn't make it was an option to lock the number of sets being viewed. Currently it is hard coded to be 25 sets and if you change to All or 100 it only works the first time. If you go back to that screen it gums up and has to be refreshed and information resent. Clearly not a biggie but would save time and refreshes of the PCGS site which incurrs more traffic and CPU usage. Hopefully that will be reconsidered during the next development cycle. I think the Registry turned out pretty darn good but I think BJ would be open to any helpful suggestions on who to make it even more functional.
