You guys know the feeling of finding a card you have been searching for. Checking Ebay and Beckett everyday, multiple times a day. It finally paid of for me.

Well, I found a card I have been looking for since forever, a 1992 Breyers Ice Cream bookmark Emmitt Smith. I not only found and won the Emmitt Smith last night, I got the whole Cowboys team set image
I have never even seen this card before and only knew it existed from reading the Beckett online player lists.

    Yup, Its a great feeling when you find a card you have been trying to track down for a long time. I just had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. You feel great about yourself until you obsess over the next card on your list!

    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    It's funny though. I was talking with Stone last night and we discussed the crazy things we do for a card or cards we really just had to have. My snipe was set above $200.00 for this set. Crazy yes, but I just had to have it image

    The annoying thing with those issues is that there are plenty of them out there, its just that everyone thinks they are junk and not worth listing. I remember the 1993 Topps giant card of Jeff Bagwell that went for over $300 a couple years ago. Not worth enough for the people who have them to list them. Then when it does come up the player collectors go crazy.

    That's because he was the best player of his generation not on PEDs.

    I *love* finding cards like that. I always get a rush when a card hits eBay that I've been looking for, but never actually *seen.* It's an "oh, so that's what it looks like" moment. I've got several on my list that I'm still looking for.

    I know I'll get them eventually.

    I hope.
