2007 10th Anniversary Platinum set selling for a whopping $4,999.00.

I thought this was funny so I will share, I was watching my tivo and viewed The Coin Collector from last night. Mike Mizak was telling the story about these coins which are the 2007 reverse proof and proof $50 Platinum coins 10th anniversary set from the U.S. mint. Anacs First Day of issue 70/70.
Mike said that the mint has stop selling these coins because of the Platinum prices. Mike stated that there were only 25,000 coins to be minted in the first place, but he thinks only 1,000 sets were sold. A 1,000 sets? He then stated he has only 95 sets graded by Anacs in grades of 70 the top grading company of the food chain, there are no 71 or 72 people, grade 70 is the best.
Let me remind you out there, Only about 3% of people in the U.S. will be able to ever buy or handle platinum because of it's scarcity..
The price is $4,999.00 this is a special price and they did not raise the price because of the rise in Platinum prices. He compared this set to the 10th anniversary eagle set Gold/Silver in 1995, he said if you have $40,000 you might be able to buy one if you can find them.
But as he understands the mint will probably never release this set of 2007 platinum 10th anniversary coins again. This is probably the rarest Reverse proof release today.
Why aren't these guys held accountable for fraudulant statements? How in the world can he say there were approx, 1,000 of these sets released before the mint pulled them. Where do they get there information. I know there were at least 1,001 sets sold.

Sombody that has $5,000 to spend on a 10th anniversary set graded by ANACS is definetly not retarted. Misinformed or clueless, but not retarded
