What would be a fair price for an 1807 CBH (Large stars 50/20 rev.)Pcgs graded VF-30?

Pcgs price guide says $750,but I haven't had any luck locating one in that price range and I just saw an F-15 sell for over $700.So if anyone has access to Heritage archives or some other realized prices,let me know what I should be expecting to pay for this coin.Thanks!

Numismedia Wholesale value is $756, a PCGS VF30 just sold 2/16 on Heritage for $632.

$750 for a PCGS 30 does sound about right. You might consider a PCGS 40 for $1000 to $1200. I am not a fan of the mid and upper grade VFs.

Good luck finding a 30 with any kind of nice originality for 750.00. These are tough although just a "common" variety. Price shopping will get you a nice white one and/or a cleaned and re-toned one.

How about $675?

I gave up looking since I've gotten priced out of the market. I'll work on my Canadian nickel 5 cent collection or something.
