Ah dang it ....

Ever realize you've made a mistake too late? Submitted my 2007-APE 10th Anniversary set today and when I got to the post office they said it needed to be re-packaged in one of there boxes, and I forgot to put "Regular" on the box for the service level. Anyone have any idea how much longer this takes for them to process an order? I'm guessing a couple days, just thought I would ask here to get an idea. Thanks.

  • Should be no more than a day. I believe they sort packages by the tier marked on the outside of the box and open them in that order to be processed.

That's not so bad then, I sort of go to the end of the line for not follwoing the rules. Seems reasonable.
  • I've been submitting since early 04 and very rarely put the service level on the outside. It's never
    been a problem.

The reason I don't put the service on the outside is because I ALWAYS forget. Now, I don't even
think about it. I also have not had a problem 'making' my own submission forms. I've actually
done an old time 'cut and paste' with sissors. And I've been doing that ever since the form printed
from their site kept growing and growing and growing.

Did not mark anything on box. Guess I missed that also. All they have to do is open /look at the package slip.image With a "ton" of boxes, arriving this week, that all look the same, they probably have a good idea what is in there.
  • Thanks for the feedback guys! Now I'm not so worried about the fact that I forgot to include this information.

Next time, just make it up by putting EXPRESS on your next submission image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • One of the great things about the TPG's is that things are still mostly done by real people, not machines, so processing bugs usually are worked out quickly. Don't worry about it.
