Paypal Credit Card Chargebacks

Is there any way to accept paypal without having to accept credit cards? It would seem paypal would be a lot more seller friendly if the seller could eliminate the use of a credit card by a buyer.

Repetition of ignorance is ignorance raised to the power two.

  • The fact is less than 1% of credit card transactions result in a chargeback if you follow proper selling guidelines. Ship to the buyers confirmed address and use signature confirmation, you should be ok. If you want to be extra cautious in case of an unscrupulous buyer use Restricted Delivery which will only allow the addressee on the package to be able to sign for it.

Caution is good, but paranoia is paralyzing.

Bank check or Money Order only. No fee, no problem with chargebacks.

You can always put in your listing that other payment options are possible and to inquire before bidding. Its too bad that you can't transfer funds into your PP account from your linked CC account like you can from your linked checking account.

And fewer bidders means lower sale prices on your merchandise. Before too terribly long, the lost profit from PayPal-only customers exceeds the cost of a chargeback.
I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."
