After posting here for 5-1/2 years...

I finally joined the Collectors Club. image

Anyone think I'll get my vouchers before the FUN show gets here? image

you should have joined at the show.

I think you get a little bit better deal with an added perk or 2.
  • I thought you were going to say you'd finally thought of something
    intelligent to say.
Oh well, maybe in another 5 1/2 years.

I tried that last year. After waiting in line for over 30 minutes, the guy at the front told me I should sign-up on-line. image

If you are a platinum member, be very careful about what you send in. Make certain they are top notch coins. Otherwise, um... Well, do what you will and enjoy image.

Submitting coins can be addictive if you have a good eye. It can be very rewarding, too. It is more fun than playing GO FISH on ebay. But that has it's rewards, too.

Why anymore so than Gold or Silver levels? Please & Thanks.

I wanted to submit some coins for grading. Why else? image

By the way, Russ told me David Hall personally calls each new collectors club member to welcome them. I'm looking forward to his call. image

Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

    Heff...
I guess if I had joined at the Gold or Silver levels, I'd have used the same advice. The "freebie" submissions often times causes a person to not think through what they are submitting. We think of them as FREEBIES when, in fact, they are paid for by the price paid when joining. So my advice is to be careful about what a guy/gal chooses to send in for grading. That's all image

    You're welcome.
