How long before I should get worried?

I bought an 1807 DBH in Pcgs F-15 off e-bay Wed. night from a seller that I have not done business with before, but has 341 total feedback and 99.7% positive feedback. It was a BIN listing which required an instant pay-pal payment which I did.So far I haven't had any contact from the seller. No ackknowledgement at all.I e-mailed them this morning to see if they realized that the listing had ended.Should I be worried at all yet?

Relax
<< <i>dont worry, be happy.........
But keep us informed.
That seller should have delivered it to you no later than 9am Thursday morning.
Leave him a neg immediately, and file a Paypal complaint to get your money back. Don't wait another minute.
Sellers that don't sit at their computers 24/7/365 and don't overnight express every thing they sell, shouldn't be allowed on Ebay.
Now seriously, give the guy a little slack.

<< <i>Of course you should be worried. You'll probably never get it.

OK,cut me some slack.I didn't say anything about negging the guy.I have not ever negged anyone or gotten one in over 7 years of buying and selling on e-bay.I know when I'm selling I usually check on my auctions daily and respond asap to let the winner know that I appreciate their business and that I'll get the item out within a day or two.I wasn't worried yet.Just wondering how long does it take before a person should get concerned. This was one of my more expensive coin purchases lately.Since the original post I have been contacted by the seller who says the item was shipped Thur. morning. The coin was the topic of another thread and I will update it with better pictures when the coin arrives.
If it is an expensive item and I don't hear anything after 3 or 4 days, I send him another email requesting the information. Generally I get a response to this email or the item shows up. So far, I have had a 100% delivery rate.
<< <i>Many sellers simply mail the coin upon receipt of payment without any contact. I would suspect that is the case with your seller too. >>
I agree.

After a week with no response, you may chew your fingernails a little bit.
At two weeks, you are permitted to get nervous and pace the floor.
At three weeks, then you can freak out.
Some sellers just ship without communication. I myself do not usually email people upon shipping, but I do leave feedback when they pay so they know I received payment.

Dave,
I am a pretty uptight guy myself. I purchased a coin on Monday with BIN and I have not heard from the guy. But I won't start sending out smoke signals to him for another few days. Even then it will be a "Just checking did you receive my payment" type email.
Don't worry just yet.

<< <i>You really should have started worrying the hour before you entered your final bid….that is the best time to begin world-class worrying. It gives you more time to work up to a psychotic state of enhanced paranoia. As it is, by waiting two entire days to develop mild angst, you’ll barely have time to curl up in a fetal position in the closet, before the postman brings your package.
Maybe Santa will being you a nice new Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) – II for your very worrisome own.
Give the seller – and yourself – a break: have a cold beer, go on a date with a woman.....get away from the stupid computer. >>
