  • I'm very lucky. Lucky they're so beautiful, lucky I had the opportunities to buy them and lucky in particular that I had the sense to pull the trigger and get the '09 VDB back when I was mainly looking for rare coins and knew relatively little about MPL's. I wish I could describe the VDB's color better than simply to say 'it looks like an iridescent reddish-brown.' Maybe there's some green or purple in there, but I'm not sure. The 1909 Lincoln is also gorgeous and definitely also PQ, and now this 1916 - can it really be red? We'll soon see!

I collect 20-slab, blue plastic PCGS coin boxes. To me, every empty box is like a beating heartimage NOT.

People come up sometimes, and ask me, G99G, are you kidding? And I answer them no, I am NOT KIDDING.

    Every empty box?
    C'mon!

G99G...Great start to a complete set, brother. You've already got the "biggies". Those are some mighty fine coins in your album also. I looked at all 135 of them. Impressive.
