Problems with a "1982" Fleer Ripken...

I just saw this auction and thought it was worth mentioning. The auction is for a signed "1982" Fleer Cal Ripken Jr card. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's a reprint. I don't recall the original '82 Fleer Ripken ever including Cal's retirement logo.
Is it a common occurence for PSA to slab a reprint with the information from the original card?

edited to add: technically PSA should add reprint, but because the card wasn't sent in for authentication or grading, only the auto, they aren't responsible for that I don't believe
Here's another copy in a different slab

I'm pretty sure that the card was part of a retirement set where Fleer made reprints of all of Cal's cards. I'm wanting to say that each of the cards had the retirement logo.
