will the new anacs slabs...

render the "old new" slabs collectable?

like the black ngc holders?

like the regency holders?

after all.... the "old new" anacs slabs haven't been out for even a year yet.

Too many were made, and there's nothing really special about them. The black and regency slabs are so popular because they're almost impossible to find and compared to any other slab are completely novel.

Maybe some day. Depends on how ANACS handles requests, nay, demands that coins recently holdered in their crappy slabs be reholdered in the more durable ones at little to no cost. I think the attrition rate of the crappy slabs will be pretty high, since people really aren't going to want their collection or stock in a slab that will fall apart if viewed askance.
