Home PCGS Set Registry Forum

Hey, Buff. I guess we got off on the wrong foot.

Buff, We must have got started off, on the wrong (1937S missing forth leg's) foot, right?

(Thanks, Mick) "Please allow me to introduce myself, I am man of ..."

Hi, Buff. My name is RegistryCoin. Some people know me as Steve. My friend MM asked you what you collect, but obviously you haven't been formally introduced, and I cannot make any introductions until we get to know each other a little bit.
I do not have any registry sets. Do you have some?
I hang here because I like to get down on people. You?
I used to collect coins, but think their stupid now, so I don't. I just talk about them, and insult those who still like 'em. I figure you have no sets too, and you collect nothing too, like me. Sorry we got off on the wrong foot. By the way, how did you like my anology about the '37s?
See you in the threads.
Your new friend,

sorry for the edit. I forgot the smiley. image

  • I dunno, but now you're getting off on the wrong forum -- there's an Open Forum better suited to this "Buffalo Stuff".
  • Oops, forgot my image too.

Remember this used to be considered the polite forum. image

image You are right, of course. I am sorry. When he messed with my friend MM, I lost my cool. I will spend two days banished to the Testing Forum, for anger mngt. and thread placement classes. image
ps, Tad. No word about the analogy??? image
  • Thanks RC. Buff sent me back three or four Anger Management classes.
I'll try to be in proper, 'Supercoin' form here on out.

  • Hmm... no I don't get it, if there's a deeper humor, or perhaps it was related to an earlier post I didn't read.

Then again, I'm not a Buff guy. Or a Buff Nickel guy, for that matter. image

I guess it's one of those "riddle wrapped in an enigma" things. You see, the Three-Legged buffalo, the key to the series, was minted at the Denver mint, not the San Francisco mint, as my post suggests. You missed this one, Tad. Former sentence recinded. RC found innocent. SC, strike one. Two more and you visit Buffbull in the Testing Forum for two days of just getting to know one another. imageimage

SC. Oh, buffalo NICKELS. I thought he was just stuck here 'cause he couldn't get back to the buffalo airport. There's a lot of blinding snow there, you know. image

That's too easy, Bill. And then I wouldn't be able to come up with a good excuse to correct all my typos. Thanks, anyway. Also, absolutely nobody has tried to do any of that cut-and-paste-italics-in-tipped-over-chevrons stuff, since I started editing. image

Well, it certainly worked with those threads that, when edited, I left no words. Don't make me...
...and you edited out the "tipped over chevron" stuff. That was the best part.
