how often would a BCCG 10 be graded a PSA 10?

I've seen someone on the boards here do that, but it's a gamble. BCCG 10 just means, very loosly, "Mint or better", so, if their standards are strict, then you're looking at a PSA 9 or better card. However, I've also seen some pretty ugly cards in BCCG holders, so buy the card, not the holder.

If it's a high $$ card in PSA/BGS 9 or higher, you've got to ask yourself, why didn't they send it to BGS/PSA instead of BCCG?

A miracle, if it ever happened. If a card were Gem Mint or Pristine (as BGS calls it), they'd submit it under regular service.

most examples i have seen of people crossing bccg 10 to bgs is 7 to 8.5 range i have not heard of anyone getting a 9 or above. i like bgs but bccg is a complete joke that really gives them a black eye.

In my limited experience buying a BCCG graded card....a centered BCCG 9 will cross over to a PSA 9.
  • It will most likely come back a 9.

I sent a bcc10 1999 Bowman Chrome Refractor Josh Hamilton a while back that came back BGS 9 w/ 9 centering, 9.5 corners, 9.5 edges, 9 surface. I thought the card had an outside shot at a 9.5 and was .5 point away.

  • No idea why you keep bumping old threads, but to answer the question, I am 3 for 3 on BCCG 10 to PSA 10.

I am 0 for 12 and would say there is a better chance of the Jacksonville Jaguars winning the Super Bowl than getting a BCCG 10 to PSA 10. image

Cherry picked BCCG 10's, I would bet 1 in 20-25

Random BCCG 10's, I would go with 1 in 250

If we're talking about modern (post-2000) base cards of superstars that sell for $.10 or less raw, a significant percentage might cross from BCCG 10 to PSA 10. The problem is, most of those are the cards that don't sell for grading fees in PSA 10.
