Man, that coin cracked all records for PR65RD 09VDB's.

Heck, the PCGS price guide said a PR66RD should retail for $40K!! As they say, throw out the sheets on that one!

Super price for Dan! I am really happy for him.

I am also sure glad I grabbed an example for my collection when one appeared on Teletrade a few years back.

Congrats to Dan on his successful sale!

In 1993 when I was co-owner of Eagle Eye R.C. we bought a 1909VDB PCGS PR65RD for $3,300 and quickly flipped it for $3,800. That would have been a nice one to bank for the last 14yrs.

    Wondercoin,

Nice teletrade aquisition. At least you still have yours.image

Proof 67RD??!! I don't know of such a coin. Is it even possible that one exists? It seems improbable that anyone could own such a coin.

    A 1909 VDB PR67RD!!! Yeah right image

    Stewart,

I am going to bet that the one you own in Pr 67 Rd is not for sale or trade.

But if it is, I can guess the asking price. " All I got"

It appears this market is not dead yet.
