Athletes Homes

As a follow up to last week's Ricky Henderson thread I tried to post a link to Snoop Dog's house, in Claremont, which is now for sale. That post was deleted within one minute. I thought a few people were enjoying the off topic aspects of that thread and it certaintly doesn't seem offensive to post a link to Snoop Dog's house? So, to the thread... I have seen pictures of many athletes homes. It seems boxers have the most ridicilous spreads with their 20 car garages and the like. Anyway, seems to me Snoop and other hip rappers like to hang with athletes a lot so seems very similar to me and thus not too OT. Here's a link to Snoop's. Anyway, have pix of athlete's homes? Snoop is at the USC practices a lot, courtside at Staples, etc.... Anyway, second house down is his house. Only asking $1.9m. LINK

CC's house looks sweet. I believe it's this one over in Fairfield (between Sac and SF). Only paid $1.1m in 2004.

    Primary Owner: SABATHIA,CARSTEN C JR & AMBER
    Secondary Owner:
    Mail Address: 936 EASTRIDGE DR
    FAIRFIELD, CA 94534
  • 1.1 million...either he got a steal or did some serious upgrading. His house looks sweet
  • I think he needs more TVs in the high end sports bar and a couple more by the pool

I'm baffled as to why these houses don't cost more?!? I thought California real estate was overpriced. These seem low even by mid-west standards.

Fairfield, where CC Sabathia lives, is not glamerous. It's about 45 minutes to an hour outside of San Francisco and about 45 minutes to Sacramento. Home of an air force base. It's a nice enough place but nothing fancy. CC probably lives in THE one nice neighborhood of Fairfield. I bet he paid $1.1 and then put a few hundred grand into TV's, pool, etc.... It's probably a $1.6m house as it sits now.

Gotta give mad props to the broker for somewhat hiding the powerlines on Snoop's house.

1st picture, just behind the 3rd palm tree on the right. And then, the bare tree branches to the far right.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
