I got the results today:
1993 MAGIC-GATHERING MOX RUBY ALPHA 9
1993 MAGIC-GATHERING MOX EMERALD ALPHA 8
9 and 8! WOOT!
That's exactly what I thought they'd get too, the Emerald is really nice but was not a 9. The Ruby is almost perfect, only a little nick on the bottom edge keeps it from a 10.

Not super surprising based off of your scans; the Ruby was nice, but my rule of thumb is if I can see anything wrong in the scan it most likely is an 8 or less. Of course, without seeing the card in person it is only a guess. PSA 9 Moxen always look so nice...
Best go out and get the other 4 and crack the Emerald for your deck - it's the "pimp" thing to do

If you guys are not aware of the Japanese Foil market - it is even bigger and more active than the PSA ones. Some cards like a Japanese Foil Goblin Welder go for $300+, and a playset of Brainstorms, a common, has gone for as high as $500. Not even Alpha 10 commons can claim that.
