If anyone is interested... '93 SP Football Box Break & 88 Topps FB Rack Case Break

Bought these from Kruk Cards off ebay using BIN.

The 93 SP Box was a blast to rip! Got every card I wanted and they are in terrific shape! I am very pleased with these.

On to the 88Topps rack case. Looking for about 10 cards from these for assorted key card registry sets. Scans to follow....

Here are scans of the key 1993 SP cards for your viewing pleasure.

  • If you don't get the '88s you need, let me know. I may have some '88T fb. I wouldn't mind getting an Elway from you if you get dupes!

I'm starting to notice (ala my Kirby set) that I kinda like the SP sets, too. They started up after I got out of collecting again in '91...(right?!)

I'm really impressed with the set's design.

Seeing Elam as a rookie is making me feel like an old fart, though...
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

The 93 SP Set is gorgeous! I was VERY happy with the cards I got and the quality. I did some searches on Kruk cards after I ordered these and was a little worried, but my 88 Topps case break and my 93 SP box exceeded my expectations, so for that I am glad!

I did not get a Robert Smith in the 93 SP set (I think that was his RC) which surprised me... I got about a half-dozen Eric Curry cards though... Wish that would have been the Bledsoe or Bettis, but the ones I did get were nice so I'm happy.

I will be happy to pull any team cards anyone wants.

Oh, and I have about 5 or 6 Elway's from the 88 set so far. I also pulled a couple of the nicer Marino cards for Greg. I'll probably send in the top one or two of each of the bigger HOF'ers. Dorsett, Allen, Montana, Rice, Moon, Kelly, Elway and Marino. Lots of basic and master set builders with those guys and I have a few nice ones of each, so what the heck.

2 racks left in box 2, and I'll post the results.

Does anyone want to actually see scans of the 88's? image

    Rack Box 2:
    BO JACKSON x4
    CHRIS DOLEMAN x2
    CHRISTIAN OKOYE x3
CORNELIUS BENNETT x3 (One has a bad ding)
    David Fulcher x2
    KEVIN GREENE x2
Tim Krumrie x3 (2 had bad dings)
VINNY TESTAVERDE x3 (2 had bad dings)

and a couple Bosworth's that are worth submitting as well.

Gotta go find my stash of card saver I's, then on to rack box #3.

    Rack Box 3:
    BO JACKSON x3
    CHRIS DOLEMAN x3
    CHRISTIAN OKOYE x1 (Badly dinged)
    CORNELIUS BENNETT x2
    David Fulcher x4
    KEVIN GREENE x3
    Tim Krumrie x2
VINNY TESTAVERDE x3 (2 badly dinged again) Seems to be the fewest and most damaged card from the case.

The Marino, Elway, Dorsett and Allen cards are all fantastic. Centering, corners, surface, everything....very happy with the break. May not be worth the most, but it was a lot of fun to open.
