OT: On Demand

Anybody else have this? I just signed up for HBO and Showtime and now I have access to virtually all of those channels programming (movies, sports, etc.) whenever I want to watch them at no cost.
I'm just psyched to watch endless boxing and the entire series of "Legendary Nights" on HBO. If you haven't seen that show it is one of the best programs on TV.
Life is good.

I do like on demand as my wife and I can rewatch what we liked or missed or watch something we haven't seen in a while. Our youngest boys really like on sprout ( Noddy , Bob the buider , etc ) on demand. Our older boys all work and all have DVR's. Enjoy!!
My favs growing up were Sugar Ray Leonard and Larry Holmes
I was too young to see Ali in his prime but love watching tapes of his fights

<< <i>Arthur, you seem like a big boxing fan. Just wondering who your 3 favorite boxers are of all time ?

Dave,
I, too, am too young to have seen any fights prior to 1985 and too young to remember any fights I saw growing up. That being said, I've got a Jack Dempsey Master set going in the registry and I'll probably start a Gene Tunney set once I'm respectable in my Dempsey set. After that? Not sure. Maybe Joe Louis, maybe Sugar Ray Robinson. I also find myself buying a lot of Schmeling and Georges Carpentier.
Another boxer I've read about and like (but prices usually end higher than I can go) is Peter Jackson. It's said that he's the one fighter John L. Sullivan refused to go into a ring with. He's got some T issues that can be had relatively cheap but the 19th Century stuff usually goes for big bucks.
Right now, I'm 100% focused on Dempsey. Okay, maybe more like 95%

And there you go trying to temp the rest of us. Thanks a lot!
I'm just too dang cheap to spring for premium channels. Plus I don't want to sit in front of the tube any more than I already do.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
(Oh, yeah, let me know when you get home and can check to see if you have the '88OPC Greenwell or not.)
