Just completed my 1957 Topps Basic Set

Hello all just wanted to share my good news! I just completed my 1957 Topps Basic Set after 6 years of collecting. Special thanks to board member Ron Burgundy for the last card I needed #45 Carl Furillo (a very nicely centered PSA 7). I have about 47 cards to upgade to be PSA 7 or better on every card. An additional thanks to all who helped me complete the set.

    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    Congrats. 1957 Topps is a difficult set due to its size and scarce mid-series.

    Congratulations on this terrific accomplishment! If anyone needs any 57's, I have accumulated a small number of PSA 7 extras, a large amount of raw cards ranging from 6 to 8, and a handful of SGC and GAI holdered cards that I'm in the process of examining and cracking out. I'm happy to help out if anyone has any specific needs.

    That set may be my very favorite, with 67 a close second. Props go to anyone that can complete a set, as I usually get bored.
