Now THAT is is beautiful coin! The tone is perfect, the strike is too. The date is great, the beauty is all there. The problem I can see is a coin like that sets a standard for the rest of the set, and to find specimens to match would take a couple of lifetimes. (not to mention bigg-o buck-os) Thanks for sharing. The image is what we've all come to admire from Mark.
Mark really nailed this one....the best pic I have seen of this coin. I didnt have a tru view of it, so we cant compare....but this is as good as it gets honestly.
Great image. Unfortunately it looks like the crud on the cheek has eaten into the metal. The coin would probably be a 66 or maybe even 67 without the problem. Still a great coin and the spot is no doubt less distracting in real life size. Where are the Mark Views of the rest of the set?
