While the reverse looks very suspect that shade of green on the obverse is impossible as I know it to reproduce artificially.

I find it extremely hard to believe any color, including green, is impossible to reproduce artifically.
From what I understand, the color of toning is related to the thickness of the film. Given this, why would any color be impossible to reproduce artifically if colors of greater and less thickness are created?
Just wondering...Mike
