Why would anyone in his right mind collect world coins?

They are obviously having more fun on the Light Side. This place is so dull by comparison.

Moreover, what is fun on the liteside may not be fun here...

World coins offers history, art, die varieties, errors, hammered coins and even some choose to have their coins graded image

    Just fewer people posting.

And, MUCH less controversy than on the light side.

  • Actually, I think we world coin collectors are in our left minds anyhow.

Hey Andy - wheres your sense of adventure? image

Besides, I am a "greysider" - one who buys, sells, and collects both US and World Coins. And there are more "greysiders" than you think!image

You have that on the liteside! Not hammered coins, of course, but the other stuff!

I like darkside material. I am a history buff, mostly US but I love the Renaissance and British history as well.

Renaissance portrait medals are astoundingly beautiful!

Naw, it's just that the people doing the lightside collecting are the ones that are usually hammered, not the coins... image

  • As I collect only 12th century coinage, it would be a tad slow on the liteside for me.

And opportunities. Dull is good. Less competition, more areas to collect, and cheaper prices!image

being that you're not in your right mind either, i'll have to insist that I take over possession of your gold coins of the Central American Republic. These coins deserve someone with half a mind left, and i'll be happy to pay shipping so you're not burdened. imageimage

because you can spend them somewhere

where can you spend Franklin Mint tokens?
  • Well technically if you think about it only left handers are in their right minds. Righties are in their left. image
