Hypothetical: Slab affecting value

First a Non-Hypothetical actual observation of mine over the past couple weeks...
I've noticed for World Gold the higherarchy of the TPG's is arranged different that in U.S., same players but different arrangement. From what I can tell NGC is by far the most favored at #1. ANACS appears to be a distant #2 with PCGS right on it's tail at a very close #3.
Here is the hypothetical...
Say I had a problem free, relatively expensive world gold coin, circa late 19th Century Europe in mint state (MS64+). The coin was house in an NGC slab when I purchased it. After purchase I sent the coin to ANACS and crossed the coin successfully in the same grade NGC gave the coin. The reason for the cross over is 100% personal preferrance of the look of ANACS plastic over the look of NGC. The coin is not going to be sold anytime soon and financial gain is not a factor. However, financial loss is not desired. Have I just lowered the real world retail value of my coin? Have I raised the real world retail value? If yes to either, has the value changed by a small or large percentage?

I edited the post and added some about the reasons of the hypothetical cross over that explain why. Info I should have put in there to begin with. This is what I added;

pcgs has the highest value at auction by far for canada stuff and for other stuff as well. ngc is easier to work with as far as turn around but the grades are a little higher so sight unseen you'll get a better coin when it's in a pcgs holder than in an ngc holder. If you send a coin to pcgs you might increase the value by the grading fee. If you think it will upgrade by all means cross it

My experience with China Gold Pandas is that this valuation is justified. PCGS' grading standards are much higher IMO for both silver and gold pandas. I have no personal experience with other world gold.
In terms of number of China Gold and silver Pandas graded, NGC has gaded multiples more than PCGS. Very seldom see any in ANACS holders.
Most importantly a really valuable coin sold in Europe, and even here, will find its value slabbed or not. I think the other responses have really left out as have you the fact that you are not likely to be selling the coin soon and would like to view it in the meanwhile in a more attractive setting.
Well, just Love coins, period.
Of course, the general guidelines that also apply to Lightside slabs, apply here: PCGS old yellow and blue holders as well as rattlers tend to have more conservatively graded coins, so often realize more based on potential.
Then again, the perceived raising or lowering of a coin's value based on which slab it is in is purely dependent on the party viewing the coin... and you cannot control that.
Unless you're playing the registry game, or have a personal preference for a specific TPG (slab aesthetics, consistency of presentation), I don't know that there's a whole lot to be gained by playing the crossover game on world coins...

I believe that ANACS will be quite competitive with the other two in the near future anyway, with regard to realized prices.

Can anyone comment on the grading practices of world gold with both NGC and ANACS as far as how they compare to each other? Does one tend to grade world gold more coservatively?
