A few I can remember:
Bill Buckner's huge error in the 1986 world series. (that was painful, I felt really bad for him)
On a brighter note:
Hank Aaron's home run to beat Babe Ruth's record. April 1974 I believe.
Super Bowl #1 on TV. KC and Green Bay I think. Wasen't really into football but I remember seeing at
least some of it.

Also - Joe Carter's homer in the 93 World Series - I was flipping back and forth between SNL (why I have no idea) and got lucky enough to catch his at bat.
At two years old, he is fascinated with ESPN -- my boy!!
At the game you mentioned... I'll never forget it
Also was at the Dallas vs Giants game when Emmitt dislocated his shoulder and stayed in the game. Home field advantage thru the playoffs was on the line. It was a big game for both teams

I was at SkyDome in first row seats behind home plate when Roger Clemens recorded his 3,000th strikeout. That was when I was a Clemens fan.
On TV ...
I saw Carter's World Series-winning HR in 1993. Carter's catch at first base for the final out of the 1992 World Series.
I saw the Gretzky to Lemieux goal in the 1987 Canada Cup.
I saw Dave Stieb toss the only no-hitter in Blue Jays history in 1990.
I watched Gretzky's last NHL game.
I watched Carlos Delgado hit four HRS in a game at SkyDome, including two into the restaraunt in center field.
Too many great memories to remember ... this is fun.
Worst memory watching Gene Tenace Hit 2 homers in 72 World Series game 1 to beat the Reds 3-2.
<< <i>Janet Jackson's boob >>
Yeah, I was sitting on the couch with my 9 year old son when that happened!
Others:
Game 7, ALCS, 2004
The Miracle on Ice (although tape delayed by ABC)
Game 6, WS, 1986 (burn in hell, Schiraldi! )
The "Bartman" foul ball
Cosell saying "look at that monkey run" on MNF
Reggie's 3 homer game in the 1977 WS
The "tuck rule" game, with Vinitari's 45 yd FG in the snowstorm
UConn-Clemson Sweet 16 game, 1990 (Tate George shot with 0.8 sec left after baseball pass from Scott Burrell)
The OJ Simpson chase, live
That's all I can think of off hand
Scott Norwood..........................................................WIDE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
James "Buster" Douglas knocks out Mike Tyson for the world heavyweight championship.
Both great upsets, both affected their respective sports tremendously. I was very glad about each.
1968 World Series and Detriot's amazing comeback from 3-1 to win
1969 Ohio State-Michigan game which Michigan won 24-12
Stanford's 13-12 upset of Michigan in the 1972 Rosebowl
The amazing Illinois comeback against Arizona in the 2005 NCAA FINAL 4... I just saw the last 4 1/2 minutes... Illinois was down by 15 or so and won
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
<< <i>Oh man there are so many including the ones above, but here it goes...
Scott Norwood..........................................................WIDE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >>
That was a bad one. Buffalo deserved to win at least one of those 4 Super Bowls and it should have been that one. Parcells was a lucky bass-turd.
Orlando Cabrera, Javier Vasquez, and Michael Barrett's first professional season win there minor league(SAL) championship. Also saw Willie Harris play his first pro season in the minors. Three were contributors to WS titles.
TV
Cal Ripken break Lou's streak
Mattingly's last game
Bartman incident
Arron Boones Game 7 GW shot of Wakefield
My NJ Nets actually become a competitor in the NBA!!!!!!
David Cone, David Wells and Randy Johnson pitch perfect games. Happiest for Wells, he's one of my all-time favorites.
Boston comeback on the Yanks to go on and win the series; and yes I'm happy for Boston!!! My lifelong best friend is a huge boston fan, so of course now he's shoved that in my face ever since lol.
The "tuck rule" game, with Vinitari's 45 yd FG in the snowstorm
G-Mac will Syracuse through the Big East tourny, and it's a crock of bs he wasn't drafted. Although he would've been Mateen Cleaves V2. Also, Terrence Roberts(PF, starter) is family; I grew up with his cousin. We get tix, so it's all good. It's "his" team this season, so I'm pulling for T-Rob.
Tons more on TV, I could list for days as we all could.
Participated in;
Won in 1996 the city wide Little League Championship. I started out as a utility player platooning at 2nd, 1st and 3rd and ended up being the starter at the hot corner for over a season and a half. Got to play with my pal Sammy I grew up with; we we're real tight and I thank the Lord for those memories, as Sam died in a car accident when we were in high school.

Nolan Ryan struck out 19 Red Sox at Anaheim Stadium-- I am trying to remember the year... 1975 or 76.
Michigan's amazing comeback during the regular season against UCLA at the Rosebowl... they scored twice in the last 3 minutes to win. I think the final score was 25-23 and the game was played in September of 1988 or 89
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

Tito Landrum's Home Run in '83 playoffs was one for me live.
The 23-22(or whatever the score was) Phillies Cubs game.
My younger brother was at Schmid'ts four homer game. He also received a champagne bottle from Sosa in 2003 on the field after the clinching game. He also hitched a ride on Sosa's back!!
Greg Luzinski hitting one over the roof at the old Comiskey Park, while sitting third row down left field line...perfect view of ball traveling in front of us.
Absolute best TV moment was Gibby's home run. Nothing could top it. The next day they did that thing where they played his at bat and cut into scenes of Redford in the Natural and paralleled it quite well. I've never seen that since, and I am always looking for that tape!
Saw the '88 Orioles break their opening season losing streak. That was actually exciting, believe it or not.
Caught one foul ball at a baseball game...Nolan Ryan threw it, and Carlton Fisk fouled it off.

were coming down the court with time running out to try and get the basket to win the game.
Who was the player he passed to and what team ? I'm thinking North Carolina but I'm not sure.
I remember John Thompson trying to comfort the player who screwed up who was beside himself over the
error.
