What does "ALTERED" mean?

Link to card
If the card had been rebacked, it would have expected "Evidence of restoration".

it could mean rebacked, skinned, recolored, soaked, pressed, stretched, built up, or anything and everything in between.

I agree with lostdart. Johnny hustle is one of the most honest sellers I've ever dealt with. I'm waiting right now for 2 lots of cards from him.

Unfortunately, the buyer will probably turn around and list it without the trimmed disclaimer.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

If that were the case wouldn't it have read Altered Stock?

Rebacked or soaked are the only alterations that might make sense, I can't see why anyone would submit a skinned OJ for grading. It does look a little narrow, so could Altered mean trimmed (or would the flip say Evid of trimming in that case)

  • Altered- my wife tells me it's something to do with my ego....
