This coin is a very special one and many of you already know why. I feel it is time someone else should have the honor of being it's guardian for a while. There have been quite a few people that asked if I ever sell this coin to contact them first. I can not choose one of you over another so to be fair to all of you I am going to auction this coin off in this thread. I think I will let it run until next September 16th Saturday NOON (EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME). Good luck and let the bidding begin.

1. Is the coin raw or in a slab? If the latter, what company and grade? (I seem to recall a thread with this or a similar coin, but I'm just too lazy to track it down
2. I assume that only PUBLIC bids in this threads will be accepted, i.e., no funny business with private bids via PM. (no offense is intended, but I was once stung by a seller wanting me to bid privately against a supposed other 3rd party, and the problem with that setup is that as a buyer you never know if there really are other bidders or if the seller is just trying to goose the price).
