Thinking of a contest. What do you think? Who wants to play?

We had a thread a while back asking what were all of our jobs. It got me thinking...

What I was thinking about doing was a contest where each of us would pick an instrument or piece of equipment or a tool, that we use in our job with an odd or funny name (the kinda name that only the people in your line of work would know what it does) and everyone would try and guess the function or purpose of it. It can be anything you use from paper to steel.

Everyone who wants to play would post the name of their piece of equip. You cant guess at others if you dont post the name of your piece of equip.

The guy that guesses the most correct would be the winner. You can only guess 3 times per item.

For the prize I was thinking that all who care to play would pick 1 psa graded card from their collection and send it to the winner.

No cheating by using google or any other search methodimage

Does this sound like fun or is it just dumb? If anyone wants to do it we can pick a time during any night of the week to do it.

Let me know what you guys think

Matt

Well Matt - this sounds like fun - if people don't google.

And, if the thread doesn't wind up over at the OF?

    Let's see how it goes?

    I wish I had a job?

Also, I guess with you - we're talking about one of your alternate jobs? Lawnmowerman is kind of a dead giveaway?

You are right Mike. I will hope that all our fine board members will take the "high road" and play fairly.

    I'm in....

    Wick

    //////////////////////////////////

A "wick" is used in the candle-making business.

I am guessing that WICK is a maker of candles.

No google required on that guess.

    Just common sense.
