CONDER LIQUIDATION (SOLD)

As my interest wanes and leads me elsewhere I have decided to sell my Conder Collection. I would like to sell it all in one shot and be done with it. I am going to shop it around and see what happens. If I can't sell it as a whole I may offer individual pieces.

The link in my sig contains most of them but not all of them. I have several pieces that never made it to the website but I do have an 8.5 meg zip file that contains them all.

I can't look at them today, I'm at work and I'm getting blocked for some weird reason.

You know Bill is going to spend it all on hookers, gambling and booze! Then what is left over is is going to start buying Modern US crap!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

I have never paid for it DIRECTLY in my whole life, I don't gamble (at least in the CASINO type sense), however, I do indulge in some drinking every now and then and as far as modern crap goes, if the below is modern crap then I am guilty.image

  • So all the conders go, a little tear is shed. I didn't see that incredible Dudley conder on your website, any chance of one more glimpse at that one, my personal fave.

Are you keeping the guitar coin though?

So far this sale has netted me the below. Checks haven't cleared yet so I put it on the card until they do. I know but I just could not waitimage

After playing with an Eric Johnson Stratocaster and a John Mayer Stratocaster for over 3 hours I just bought this bad boy home today. The John Mayer had a ballsier sound with more sustain. They both played great but in the end there was a clear winner for me. ( Not that smoeday I may go back for the Eric Johnson )

Features include an alder body and satin urethane-finish maple neck with a slightly larger C-shape, topped by a buffed headstock with a vintage ’50s decal. The African rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5” radius and Dunlop® 6105 frets.

Other features include three new “Big Dipper” single-coil pickups with a special “scooped” mid-range voicing wound to Mayer’s exacting specs, an American Vintage synchronized tremolo with five tremolo springs (the uninstalled back plate is in the case), Fender/Gotoh® vintage-style tuning keys and a three-ply brown shell pickguard.

    Thanks Cosmicdebris

My guitar instructor plays PRS guitars and he let me try several out before I made any purchases. I instantly fell in love with these guitars. I bought mine and went straight to a luthier and changed the strings out from the .009's that come on this particular model to .011's. He also reset the action and corrected the intonation from the change. This guitar feels better than any I have ever played. It also sounds great through my vintage amps. I can get a wide range of sounds from this guitar. I generally play the Blues, 60's rock and a little Jazz. My next guitar purchase is going to be a vintage Fender Telecaster.

But enough about guitars, I could talk about them all day. I have generally in the past mainly collected U.S. coins but am growing weary of the controversy and chicanery in the recent past. I have been studying Conders of late and hope to make my first purchase soon. It looks like your one of the resident experts on the subject. Even though you may have sold your collection you still possess the knowlege you obtained. I hope you dont mind a few questions now and then on this subject?

Keep posting those guitar pics. In my opinion they are beautiful works of art. No two guitars are exactly the same just like coins.

    Thanks

Thanks to you too. Feel fre to ask any Conder question you like. But just so you know there are others on here like Conder101 that have more knowledge on Conders than me.
