U.S. MINT WARNING!!! GOLD BUFFALOS

MacCrimmonMacCrimmon Posts: 7,058 ✭✭✭
The U.S Mint are really nothing but certified NIMRODS!!!!

The Proof Buffalos I ordered were charged to and "supposed" to be shipped to a PO BOX.

The MINT shipped via FEDEX . . . . to my PO BOX.

Luckily, I checked again today and found that they were being held at a local FEDEX facility, and were to be returned this afternoon......image

P.S. I think they are all PF70 DCAMs, so I'll sell to interested parties for ONLY $2800 each ....... image

The US Mint gives a "free" upgrade to Fedex is the price per order is over a certain amount ($300 still?).
So, the GB is obviously that.

Maybe you should have read that on the checkout page (I believe it is there), or, if you called the order in, asked if there would be a problem and how it would be shipped.

I don't think they are "nimrods" for this if you have the POBox on record with them and that is where things get shipped to.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

They are nimrods. I asked for USPS Registered mail instead of Fedex and I paid extra for it.

    They still shipped Fedeximage

Also if it is in your records that your address is aPO Box they should know better than to "upgrade" your order to Fedex which can't be delivered to your address.

I asked specifically for USPS Registered and they changed from FEDEX to USPS Registered for NO FEE. All you have to do is ask.

The US Mint does not ship coins, that is contracted out to a private company and all gold coins at lease the 1 Oz for the past few years have always been upgraded to FEDEX.

The outside, non-Mint fulfillment center, should be aware of the do's and don't's of shipping since that's what they do for a living.image
