    Nice coin. I see even Haiti conformed its coinage to Latin Monetary Union standards (which makes sense because of French influence).

    You know shiroh (because I know how much you're interested in this subject),I was reading in various books lately that the LM Union did not benefit any member country but France finally. There's a wide variety of reasons for this that could be the subject of a different thread.


    As for the coin it is beautiful, I love reverses with palm trees on them, Haiti has produced some really pretty coins.
