Why Did Amos Press sell ANACS?

I'm curious as to why they sold ANACS after owning it since 1990. Does anyone know? Thanks

Amos Press got offered a lot of money for ANACS. The folks who aquired ANACS tried to buy PCGS several years ago, but got turned down.

The "talent" ANACS has recruited since the ownership change also came by way of strong money.

They were bought by Andersen Press which owns Whitman Publishing (Red Book).
